i hope to god lewis wins the championship,as he has proved that he can win without resorting to foul play,unlike another driver i could mention… blocking in the pits pushing team mates wide and paying his engineers money to break the rules as i see it ..i have never liked the spaniard as i dont think he is as good as he thinks he is he only won the championship last time because ferrari had so many engine failures…he should go back to renault where he belongs

In Hungary, FIA punished his teammate for following the rules of the team, Hamilton insult his teamboss and later cry to the media. We don’t get no hearing on this one do we????????

I am English but have been living in Spain for the last twenty years, this year you made me feel proud to British not only for your incredible driving but also because you proved to the Spanish that you don’t go back stabbing when the chips are down (not like someone else I could mention!).
Spain still hasn’t got over Franco dying and the country is still divided, the only thing that keeps them together is their nationalism and their hate for anyone who does better than them.
Many of my Spanish friends are a pleasure to know but meet one like Fernando Alonso and you will regret ever coming to Spain. My only advice for you Luis is try to forget Alonso and enjoy working with Pedro de la Rosa who is one of my favourite Spanish drivers.

So much bitterness - it’s hilarious. Why can’t you just accept that Lewis is a good driver. Fair enough, Raikonen deserves to be world champion for this year, and Alonso would have been a worthy champion too, but calling Hamilton a loser is a bit childish and shallow. I’m getting bored of coming here and seeing these negative comments. First of all I must congratulate Lewis on an outstanding rookie season!!! I am one of many female fans and not because he is a charismatic, humble and an outstandingly talented young man but because he unlike most of his fellow drivers, who SHOULD be leading by example not childish innuendos, is a real gentleman. I know, to alot of peoples sorrow, that Lewis is here to stay! So for those quietly racist comments and underlying innuendos I say HA!HA!HA! You can’t keep a good man down! For all of us who appreciate the sport and look at talent more than individual prowess, keep on supporting Lewis because we are the ones who REALLY know!

True Chiquito. Jacques Villeneuve had an awesome debut. But he’d already been racing at a top level in the US? I don’t mean to take anything away from Jacques, but it’s still not quite as impressive as Hamilton’s debut season, simply because Villeneuve wasn’t a rookie. Fair play though Chiquito for reminding us of how great Villeneuve was that season. I certainly appreciated it too.
